HOW TO GET SERVICES & APPEAL IN ALABAMA
- DD track: appeal to DMH Associate Commissioner (Div. of Developmental Disabilities) within 15 calendar days of the effective date on the Notice of Action
- If dissatisfied, request a Fair Hearing from the Alabama Medicaid Agency within 15 calendar days of the DMH response letter
- OR appeal directly to the Alabama Medicaid Agency within 60 calendar days of the effective date
