HOW TO GET SERVICES & APPEAL IN NEW MEXICO
- Fee-for-service / DD (MiVia) Waiver: request HSD fair hearing within 90 days of notice (continuation if within 13 days)
- Managed care (Turquoise Care): file MCO internal appeal within 60 days of notice (continuation if within 10 days)
- After MCO final appeal decision: request HSD administrative hearing within 30 days
- Judicial review: appeal to NM district court within 30 days of final decision
