Georgia does not currently mandate insurance coverage for AAC devices. The state offers partial self-determination options for individuals with disabilities. Current waiting lists average approximately 60 months.

2. Request an AAC evaluation from a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
3. Submit documentation to Medicaid for device funding
